Terms of Sale for TinkerMods.no

1. Parties

These terms of sale apply to purchases made at TinkerMods.no.

2. Payment

We accept payment via Apple Pay , card and PayPal . All prices are quoted in NOK and include any VAT where applicable. Payment must be made before your order is dispatched or processed.

3. Delivery

• Modification services and repairs can be delivered via personal delivery in Grimstad or by mail .
• The customer is responsible for sending the device safely if postal delivery is used.
• Delivery time varies based on the complexity and progress of the assignment, but will usually be 1-2 days.

4. Right of withdrawal

• For services (modding/repairs), there is no right of withdrawal after the service has been performed, as this is a customized service.
• For physical products, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal after receipt, as long as the product has not been used and is returned in its original condition.
• To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us via the contact form within the deadline.

5. Return

• Returns only apply to physical products, not services.
• I always cover the return shipping cost .
• If the return is approved, the amount will be refunded within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

6. Complaints handling & Warranty on Modding

• If a service or product turns out to be faulty or lacking, you have the right to complain in accordance with the Consumer Purchase Act .

7. Errors during modding and compensation

• If I am unable to complete the modification , the customer will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the service.
• If I were to cause damage to the console while modding, I will either:
  • Repair the damage at no additional cost , or
  • Compensate the customer according to the market value of the console , if the damage cannot be repaired.
    

8. Disclaimer for bricking and banning

• Modding consoles always involves risk. If the console is bricked (unusable) or banned by the game publisher (e.g. Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft) in the future , I take no responsibility for this.
• The customer understands that modified devices may violate the game developer's terms of service and may result in banning from online services. This is the customer's sole responsibility and no refund or compensation will be provided in such cases.

• Refunds and warranties only apply if there is a physical defect with the mod chip itself or an error related to the actual soldering performed by us. This does not cover errors that occur as a result of user error, software problems, damage due to misuse, unauthorized modification or other external factors that are not directly due to a defective chip or improper work on our part. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the console and associated software are used correctly after the modification.

9. Conflict resolution

• We aim to resolve any disputes in a smooth manner. Please contact us first via our contact form if any problems arise.
• If we do not agree, the matter can be brought before the Consumer Council or relevant complaints boards.
