1. Parties
These terms of sale apply to purchases made at TinkerMods.no

2. Payment
All prices are stated in NOK and include any value-added tax where applicable. Payment must be completed before the order is shipped or services are performed.
3. Delivery
- Modification services and repairs can be delivered via personal delivery in Grimstad or by mail.
- The customer is responsible for safely sending the unit if mail delivery is used.
- Delivery time varies based on the complexity of the assignment and demand, but it will usually be 1-2 days.
4. Right of Withdrawal
At TinkerMods.no, as a customer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with the Cancellation Act.
This only applies if you notify us within 14 days of ordering, and before the service (modding or repair) has commenced.
If you cancel within the deadline, and the work has not started, you will receive a full refund.
If 14 days have passed, or the service has already commenced or been completed, the right of withdrawal will not apply, and the amount will not be refunded.
For physical products (such as a modchip or accessories purchased separately), a 14-day right of withdrawal also applies from the time you receive the item, provided that the product is returned in its original condition. Return shipping is covered by the buyer.

5. Returns
- Returns apply only to physical products, not services.
- We always cover return shipping costs.
- Upon approved return, the amount will be refunded within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
6. Complaint Handling & Modding Warranty
Warranty
We offer a 6-month warranty on all work we perform – this includes services such as modding, soldering, component replacement, and repairs.
The warranty applies exclusively to the specific work we have performed, and covers faults or problems directly attributable to it.
If you open the console yourself after our work is completed, the warranty will be voided.
Important:
-The warranty does not cover other components, parts, or functions that we have not worked on.
-Any damage, faults, or problems arising due to external influence, unauthorized opening, moisture, misuse, drops, or modifications performed by others are not covered by the warranty.
In the event of a warranty claim, we will inspect the product, and if the fault is due to our work, we will repair it free of charge. If it cannot be repaired, we will purchase a new unit for you.
7. Errors during modding and compensation
- If we are unable to complete the modification, the customer will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the service.

If during modding we cause damage to the console, we will either:
- Repair the damage at no extra cost, or

Compensate the customer according to the market value of the console, if the damage cannot be repaired.
8. Disclaimer for bricking and banning
- Modding consoles always carries a risk. If the console should become bricked (unusable) or banned by the game publisher (e.g., Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft) in the future, I take no responsibility for this.
- The customer understands that modified units may violate the game developer's terms of use and that this may lead to exclusion from online services. This is the customer's own responsibility, and no refund or compensation will be given in such cases.

Refund and warranty apply only if a physical defect occurs with the modchip itself or issues related to the soldering performed by us. This does not cover errors arising from user error, software problems, damage due to misuse, unauthorized modification, or other external factors not directly attributable to a defective chip or faulty work on our part. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the console and associated software are used correctly after modification.
9. Responsibility for files and software after modding
When modifying consoles, TinkerMods ensures the installation and configuration of necessary files, apps, and customizations as agreed. Everything is tested and verified as functional before the console is returned to the customer.
After the console is delivered, it is the customer's sole responsibility how the files, operating system, and console are further used, updated, or modified. Any problems arising from the customer's own file management, updates, deletion, transfer, or modification of system files, apps, or content fall outside our warranty and service responsibility.
As long as the soldering work and modchip installation are correctly performed and function as agreed, TinkerMods has no obligation to provide further support with file setup, firmware, or user guidance afterwards. Any such changes or troubleshooting are at the customer's own risk and responsibility.
TinkerMods is not responsible for errors, crashes, or loss of functionality caused by the customer altering, overwriting, or removing files. Such issues are not covered by any form of complaint, warranty, or technical support.
10. Dispute Resolution
- We aim to resolve any disputes smoothly. Please contact us first via our contact form if problems arise.
- If we cannot reach an agreement, the matter can be brought before the Consumer Council or relevant complaints boards.
